puddles that grow and shrink depending on the hour

There was rain of every sort while I was in La Push for four days. There was the constant drizzle often associated with the Pacific Northwest. The variable down pour seen on many a winter day around these parts. The open faucet variety which saturates everything. And of course the sideways, pelting down pour that would eat an umbrella for a snack and threaten to take out an unsuspecting window or two.
