I was reading in my "Joy of Cooking" recipe book about a month ago and stopped on the recipe for Belgian waffles. They contain yeast where as more traditional waffles do not. It didn't say that I needed a deep-welled waffle iron and so I decided to try them out.
they turned out crisper then other waffles I have made. Add organic strawberries and whipped cream and you have a fabulous treat!
