hours of work for this

Somehow I always manage to plan on cooking an elaborate gourmet meal on one of the hottest days of the year. Today it was handmade gnocchi with freshly made pesto (blanched those basil leaves and shocked them in cold water!) Followed by a beautifully made raspberry pie and one of the best lattices I have ever made.



An incredibly scrumptious meal, if I do say so myself!
