Sunday drive along Hood Canal

The weather on our way out of Seattle was horrible.
It had moments of a torrential downpour
Fishing was in full swing across the waterway
We drove up a road towards Duckabush.
The moss on the trees was astounding
Maybe it helps them stay warm in the winter. ;-)
The Duckabush river was flowing very loudly as we stopped to enjoy the stop

Such nice views

Sadly, many people just don't get this

The wait for the ferry back across the water was a bit long
At least we had a rainbow
The car I would rather be driving
Hello Edmonds
As we drove home the sunset of course was breathtaking

not a bad way to end the day
