Trim, kitchen color and bathroom update

Here is a sneak peak of our new upstairs bathroom. The above picture is of the floor tile, that white stripe is where the fun colored glass tiles will go.
And here is a little peak into the shower stall. We'll have another color stripe in that white tile. The pink areas are where tiles will be too, that cut out in the wall will be a shelf for shampoo and what not. I can't wait to see how it all works out. We should have plumbing in on Friday! Which Frank and I can't even imagine them being done that fast.

This is Sam's room, showing that his room is all complete with baseboards, trim and window frames.

Makes it see much more "finished" if you will. Although there is of course the priming and painting of all those new pieces to be done. I still can't get over there are 5 electrical outlets alone in Sam's room. Which is 3 more than the old upstairs had total!

This is a picture of one of our kitchen colors. That is the new back door on the left. We actually hired professional painters to help us with this area because we just ran out of energy and time.

The painters were relieved to know that I knew I had picked a pretty crazy color for my kitchen walls. I know for a fact though that once the floor and cabinets are installed this color will be quite subdued and covered up.

And lastly this is what once was the downstairs bedroom, which I always called the "blue room". The painters have been patiently waiting for the newly added plaster coat to dry so that they might prime the walls and paint them. Silly weather is slowing this process greatly. Had this been last week everything would have been dry in a day.
According to our builder guy the floor guys are coming next Monday to begin installing the new wood floors upstairs. And by next Thursday they will be sanding them. Once they start that process the upstairs will be off limits. Which means our remodel is very much in the home stretch. Hard to believe it is all going to be ending soon.
