A subject that rips at my heart every single time I hear about it

Violence against women is a global problem. It has been for many years now. While our leaders take steps to end hunger and poverty ( great causes to get behind) we often let women fall through the cracks. We need stronger voices to rise up and talk about this phenomenon. No one should be treated like a second class citizen because of their gender, sexual preference or religious beliefs. Its a shame the women of the world hide in fear, which causes their stories to remain untold.

Teach your daughters to speak up. It will in turn help every generation that follows to have a louder voice.
